In the holiday region of Füssen and his area you can do a lot of sight
seeing and you have many opportunities for your spare time.
A few examples are
the castles
Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau
also the ruins of
Frey- and
Eisenberg, Falkenstein and Hopfen.

There are also excellent walking - and cycle tours in a beautiful land shape. | |
| The numerous and nice placed lakes invites for sun baths and swimming. Besides the possibility for boat rent at many lake, the Forggensee offers ship tours and surfing. Also diving is at some lakes permitted. |

To have a quieter time, the approx. 10 km distanced neighbour village Schwangau with the spa Königs - Therme with several pools and sauna areas, give a great time to relax. | |
| The close mountains invites for mountain walking and climbing. | ||

In winter time, Füssen and surrounding areas give the opportunities for alpine-skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, toboggan-sliding or ice-skating (approx. 10-15 km to the next skiing areas). | |
